Review of the premieres that hit theaters
Today, Friday, August 13.
As a more prominent title we have ‘Snake Eyes: El origen‘(Paramount), spin-off of the GI Joe franchise in which Snake Eyes is a tenacious solitary warrior who, after saving the life of the heir of the Arashikage, is taken in by this Japanese clan. Upon arrival in Japan, the Arashikage teach Snake Eyes how to become a ninja warrior, while providing him with something he longs for: a home. But when secrets from his past are revealed, Snake Eyes’ honor and loyalty will be put to the test, even if it means losing the trust of those close to him.
For its part, another great launch is that of ‘Escape Room 2: You’re dying to get out‘(Sony Pictures), the second installment of the enigmatic and incipient franchise based on the “escape room” game in which six people will be unexpectedly locked in a new series of “escape rooms”, gradually revealing what they have in common to survive and discovering that everyone had already played the game before.
Finally, we will also highlight ‘Blood issue‘(eOne Films Spain), gripping dramatic thriller directed by Tom McCarthy (‘Spotlight’) and starring Matt Damon in which the actor takes on the role of a rude worker on an American oil rig who travels to Marseille to visit his daughter, imprisoned for a murder that he claims not to have committed.
