Adele and Viktor Sheen reign supreme for the pre-Christmas edition of the Czech charts

Even just before the Christmas holidays, there was no exchange of leaders in the domestic charts. Adele won her third radio show with “Easy On Me”, with Viktor Sheen dominating the album’s “Stories and Dreams”. Bronze will delight fans of hard music – it was captured by the band Arakain with the re-released collection “Thrash The Trash”.

RADIO – While in the UK, for example, the singles chart is dominated by Christmas hits, the festive mood at the top does not show much on our radio stations. Adele added her third victory with “Easy On Me” to complete the winning hat-trick. However, her closest rival from previous rounds offended – Dua Lipa dropped from “Love Again” from number two to number fifteen. The remaining places on the podium were shared by the representatives of the dance scene. Belgian DJ Lost Frequencies and his singing colleague Calum Scott advanced to the silver post with “Where Are You Now”, thus improving their maximum. Tiësto and Karol G jumped to the current three from the last seventeenth position and thus took care of the most significant rise in the top ten. Dermot Kennedy has returned to the elite company, whose song “Better Days” has landed on the potato bar after the previous fourteen. Kryštof with the current single “I fall into the sky” was slightly lost when they dropped from bronze to five, but the band has last year’s hit “Christmas” with Karel Gott at number seven. This is the only holiday song in the top ten. However, it is not without interest that the classic “Last Christmas” from Wham! after all those years, he improves his best result with thirteen. The current Christmas blockbuster, “Merry Christmas” by Ed Sheeran and Elton John, scores at 21, a move of more than forty places. The news reached the second half of the standings, the best of which was the 17-year-old American singer Gayle – with the pop-punk single “ABCDEFU” she owns fifty-five. Nico & Vinz follow thanks to “Trouble” at number seventy, seventy-two being Masked Wolf and Bebe Rexha with “It’s You, Not Me (Sabotage)”. Thanks to “Most People”, R3hab and Lukas Graham take the eighty-one position and Michal Hrůza’s “Up” starts at the 85th.

Viktor Sheen - Stories and dreams

ALBA – Even just before Christmas, Adele with the album “30” could not take down “Stories and Dreams” of Viktor Sheen from the top of the domestic album chart. Both recordings were released in the same week and for the fourth time they were ranked in the same order as number one and number two. However, the increased interest in physical media as possible gifts is reflected in the ranking – this time Sheen is the only Czech rapper in the top ten. During the year, domestic representatives of this genre occupy more than half of the seats among the elite. Arakain claims his third position with his first and pivotal album “Thrash The Trash”, which was first available in 1990. The legend of Czech metal, which will celebrate forty years of operation next year, released the record in remastered form – both on CD and vinyl, so for the first time ever digitally. Swedish pop icon Abba with “Voyage” remained fourth. Miro Žbirka scored five, whose selection “MEKY – The Best Of Mira Žbirka” will probably also lie under more than one Christmas tree. If the winning Viktor Sheen is the only Czech rapper in the top ten, it is fair to add that the Slovak scene also has one representative in it. Pil C started with the novelty “Condemnation to Success” on the seventh. Other rap performers did not make it into the top ten, two remained just behind its gates with their fresh deeds: Hugo Toxxx scored 11 with the title “Mummy” and Smack scores behind him thanks to the recording of “Chimera Pt. 3: Snake”. Even in her second week, Ewa Farna did not enter the top ten with the celebrated line “Umami”. The last start at number nineteen was caused by the preferential release of physical media, and the counting golden slave improved to fourteen, including the streams. On the other floors of the chart, we will find only one novelty, up to ninety-fifth position. The recording of “HUHU” was taken care of by the rap group DMS, which consists of Dame, Separ and Smart.
