The calendar year has changed, but the names are not at the top of the domestic rankings. Adele extended her triumphant ride on the Czech air with the single “Easy On Me” for four weeks, Viktor Sheen adds even the fifth laurel of the title “Stories and Dreams”. Kontrafakt provided the only top ten news.

RADIO – Adele has been the first place on the album charts since November, but the dominance of her song “Easy On Me” continues into the new year. If anyone doubted whether the British diva could build on the popularity of its previous hits, then the last few weeks had given them a clear answer. For twenty-five weeks, ie almost half a year, the currently silver Ed Sheeran with the single “Bad Habits” has been on the charts. He worked his way up to the podium again from the last six. To the imaginary crate he knows this well, let’s remember that he took over the order eleven times last year. In Britain, the song became the most successful song of the year in the annual charts. The bronze medal was won by the band Kryštof – the ballad “I’m falling into the sky” is with this result it balances its best result so far from December. Dermot Kennedy with “Better Days” and also O5 and Radeček with the song “Bra3” remained outside the medal stages, scoring for almost a year. Until the new year, the playwrights have prepared a decent portion of novelties for us. The best placed even headed to the top twenty – just the twentieth line was taken by rapper Lil Nas X, one of the favorites of the next Grammy. The single “That’s What I Want” comes from last year’s album debut “Montero”, which aroused passions also due to the burning video clips. At the age of 33, Ewa Farna started with the emotional ballad “Version 02”, in which she talks to her thirteen-year-old self. The third single from the album “Umami” achieved a better result in the first week than the previous tastings “Body” and “Well no” have ever achieved. British DJ Joel Corry collaborates with singer Mabel on the song “I Wish” and they start at 43rd place. The Jonas Brothers claim “Who’s In Your Head” and Conan Gray with “Telepath” (42nd) and Sam Fischer (Hopeless Romantic) (50th). American tough guys Hollywood Undead and Kazakh producer Imanbek take the number fifty-eight with “Runaway”. The last fresh piece was provided by a young Slovak artist Karin Ann, who with “we’re friends, right?” enters the ninety-fifth place.

ALBA – For the fifth time in the album charts, Viktor Sheen and Adele clashed with their new actions, and for the fifth time, it turned out the same way. The Czech rapper left the iconic singer behind his back again. It looks like the record “Stories and Dreams” will follow in the footsteps of Sheen’s previous bestsellers “Black and White World” and “Colors”. In our country, the “30” remains in second place, but Adele has reaffirmed its exceptional position in pop music on the international market. The album was not released until the second half of November, yet it became the best-selling in Britain in 2021, with more than 600,000 points. The past year was also successful for the legendary Swedish band Abba. After forty years, the studio studio “Voyage”, which has been released in our country, has once again gone through the medal levels, specifically the bronze one. This record was also one of the most popular in Britain last year, finishing third behind Adele and Ed Sheeran in the year-round overview. In the coming weeks, rappers, whose loyal listeners support their favorites on streaming services regardless of the season, will probably benefit from the end of the pre-Christmas shopping spree. This was already evident this week, as Smack started at number 12 last time with the recording of “Chimera Pt. 3: Snake”, now he has moved to four. The only novelty squeezed into the top ten. It is the fault of the Slovak Kontrafakt, which celebrates twenty years of operation with the album “KF ako Rolls”. Fans posted an album, released just before the end of last year, at six in the opening week. On the third attempt, Ewa Farna made it to the top ten, and her studio studio “Umami”, who was released after seven years, received excellent reviews. She moved from ninth to ninth place. Lucie Vondráčková, on the other hand, fell short of expectations, and the novelty of “Love” begins as the thirty-eighth most popular.
